HAIL AMERICAN HEROES
Lyrics

Lyrics by Bud Monaco / Music by Joe Jammer

Dedicated to PFC Jessica Lynch / 507th Maintenance Support Company
and all the American and Allied Soldiers who have served their Country.

A little young lady just over five feet tall
An American Soldier she gave it her all
She marched right out of high school through the Army’s front door
Now a national hero she survived as a Prisoner Of War

Wounded with her soldier comrades never giving up her hope
Military Combat Zone surely ain’t no joke
With broken bones and wounded she kept her faculties to survive
Gave herself another chance of living an American life

All Hail American Heroes, Our very own Warriors standing tall
All Hail American Heroes, Just like Jessica who gave it her all
Another war fought for Freedom and defending our way of life
And we’ll never forget the heartaches of such terrible loss of life

Band of Brother Combat Soldiers searched for her out there in the sand
America held her collective breath once more for soldiers lost in foreign lands
American and Allied Soldiers died out there for Freedom and Democracy
We salute them all and thank them all with Honor and Dignity

Perfromed By: The Brothers & Sisters Of America Band

Hail American Heroes
Press Release

In the continuing fine tradition of its Military Music Dedication Songs, Sopro Records is releasing it latest Military Music Dedication song ‘Hail American Heroes’. This song is dedicated to the US Army’s Private First Class Jessica Lynch and to the American, British, Australian and Polish fighting forces of the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force. ‘Hail American Heroes’ is also dedicated to those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. They Are Not Forgotten. ‘Hail American Heroes’ makes a statement of Honor and Dignity for the American and Coalition fighting forces of The Gulf War of 2003.

Hail American Heroes’ was honorably written and designed for the US Army’s 19 year old, PFC Jessica Lynch of West Virginia who was wounded in combat and survived as a Prisoner Of War. The dramatic and perfectly executed rescue of PFC Jessica Lynch led by US Navy Seals and US Army Rangers will be remembered for years to come by all Americans and Military Personnel. This rescue is one of the few, ever, successful POW rescue missions in the history of American Warfare. Other American and Coalition Soldiers were not as fortunate as Jessica and did not share the same fate as her out there in the sand. We Thank Them For Our Freedom. They Will Not Be Forgotten.

The Brothers and Sisters of America Band’ performs ‘Hail American Heroes’. The music of ‘Hail American Heroes’ was written and arranged by the nationally known and world traveled songwriter and guitar virtuoso Joe Jammer. Joe Jammer’s prolific song writing and music arrangements coupled with Bud Monaco’s heartfelt and dramatic story telling lyrics have created a beautiful American Anthem that will be hailed all across America for years to come.

The outstanding rhythm section, featuring Tommy Biondo on Bass and Patrick Doody on Drums, both performing with rock steady precision, have built a lovely, melodic at times, and yet at other times, a thundering rhythm track foundation over which Joe Jammer plays a mesmerizing four part, 12-string, acoustic guitar performance with similar style and tonalities noticeably reminiscent of his long time mentor and former teacher, the legendary Jimmy Page. The beautifully arranged and angelic voice of Lead Vocalist Peaches Staten will reach down deep into your soul and cut a path of Freedom into the hearts of all Americans. This beautiful and angelic voice of Peaches Staten will surely arouse the spirit and soul of all that hear her magical voice sing praise to the American Soldiers. Additional background vocals are performed by vocalists Jerry Frank, Bobby Dunne and Todd MacGillivray who create a cacophonous four part harmony with Peaches Staten that makes this song reach out in angelic harmony creating a beautiful new American Anthem. Add to this mix the prolific, dynamic and nationally heralded Brass sounds of Bill McFarland and The Chicago Horns and another outstanding coalition of recorded American music was created. The Chicago Horns are bandleader and horns arranger Bill McFarland who performs brilliantly on Slide Trombone along with Kenny Anderson performing flawlessly on Trumpet and Aubrey Rivers with a sensational Saxophone performance.

Hail American Heroes’ was recorded at Drumhead Recording Studio with Pat Doody and Bud Monaco Producing.
