Founded by Drummer/Songwriter James Olan and Vocalist/Frontman Marc Scherer as a project to put together their perfect band. Veterans of big drawing club acts, they knew what was involved and the exact sound they wanted. Excellent vocals and top notch performers/players were a must to capture the type of music Olan and Scherer were creating. Known locally as the best all around male vocalist on the Chicago and Mid-western music scene, Marc Scherer possesses a five octave natural range and a dynamic stage presence honed through years of live performances. Im more comfortable on stage than when I drove my work truck says Scherer. From his first drum set to his first major show at 16 years old in 1987 performing with Mike Pinera on Iron Butterflys reunion tour to a crowd of 8,000 spectators, his passion for song crafting, drums and progressive rock music is an on-going labor of love for Olan. As a powerful and authoritative presence behind his massive drum kit, Olan, a perfectionist like Scherer, is ideally suited for providing a solid foundation for the groups total sound. After trying out a myriad of guitarists, they decided on Mike Satarino. Satarinos playing style matured while with the band making his dynamic musical personality an integral part in the studio and during live performances. Ubiquitous and eccentric, Satarino belongs nowhere else in life than performing rock and roll. Bassist Dave Clettenberg combines an aggressive bass style and a highly disciplined approach to life and performing which compliments the other band members extemely well. Being the fourth member of the band with a great voice, he adds another dimension to the bands already strong vocal performance. Powerful, cutting edge, commercially viable and gimmickless, this is a
true arena band in the vein of Van Halen, Styx, Joruney and Rush who can go toe to toe
with anyone on any level in the industry. Some comments from Visionary shows.Steve Walsh (Kansas) Jim Peterik (Survivor) Joe Jammer (guitar tech, Jimmy Page)
